The choice of Module is up to the manufacturer as they are responsible for the conformity assessment. Some types of EU fertilising products can be assessed using a choice of Modules, and for some types of products the choice of Modules is restricted or pre-defined. The choice of Modules for a manufacturer is defined by the final EU Fertilising Products PFC and CMC.
Below you can see a handy table, but attached to this page is also a full overview of possible Modules that can be used for different applications. Unclear? Send us an email or submit a ticket above, we will give you input to determine the Module.
Good to know!
PFC 7 can always be done using Module A. A blend of EU fertilising products may only contain products that have already been through conformity assessment. Thus, if you make a blend out of an inorganic fertiliser using CMC 1 and an inorganic fertiliser using CMC 12 struvite you can still perform the conformity assessment using Module A, even though the CMC 12 falls under Module D1. The reason for this is for the product to be used in a blend, it must already be assessed.
