I have a concentrated and diluted biostimulant, must I do double trials?

A concentrated Biostimulant and a diluted Biostimulant are 2 products under FPR, and indeed they are seperate formulations. However usually double trials are not required, so long as the dosage rate scales proportionaly to the dilution to be performed.

As a hypothetical take a product containing Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract The standard formulation is certified at 0.75L/ha - 1L/ha for all crop groups. The product is assessed by a Notified Body and a certificate has been obtained for Module B.

The company has a diluted version of the formulation. The formulation is diluted by 50% with a neutral reagent not having a PFC 6 effect. If the application rate for the new Biostimulant is 1.5L/ha - 2L/ha no new trials are needed as the earlier trials can be used for extrapolation.

Under Module B this will require a seperate certificate, but EFCI Register has specific procedures so costs and time is significantly lower for subsequent certificates. Or we can also offer Module D1 certification.
